 Single-slot Serial
Cradle
This cradle serves as an essential data communications device,
enabling you to synchronize the information in your SPT 1800 to your Desktop
Software using Hot Sync technology. This provides a one-to-one communications
link between a single terminal and a host computer. This is typical of a single
user or a small business where only a few users would synchronize their
terminal to the same host. There is also a spare battery charger in the top of
the cradle, which has its own LED displaying, charging status.

 Serial Charging Cable
The
Serial Charging cable is a low-cost charging and communications cable for the
SPT 1800. The communications/charging cable interfaces with the serial port on
the bottom of the unit, allowing for quick and easy attachment. The battery is
fully charged within 2 hours.

 Vehicle Mount Cradle
Vehicle
mount cradles are available for field and in-vehicle applications. The
Vehicle-mount cradle for the SPT 1800 has multiple fixed-mount options for the
terminal in addition to allowing for serial communications and in-vehicle
battery charging.

 Single-slot Modem
Cradle
Symbol offers a 33.6kbps single-slot modem cradle for remote
synchronization over dial up phone lines. The modem cradle is configured with
dual RJ11 phone jacks to accommodate an external phone and an RJ45 jack for
serial connection to a host computer.
The modem cradle also has an RJ45 serial
connection that enables it to double as a serial cradle. Users choose the
operating mode via the Modem Sync/Serial Sync selector switch. The modem cradle
is designed for use on a countertop or mounted on a wall. |
